Well the middle of the month has passed and I am still without the November issue of the US Sky & Tel (the one with the Mars lander on the cover). Have you all got your copies? If this one is missing, it will make one issue in 5 months, and with a subscription paid up to 2011 I can look forward to about another 40 to 50 missing issues:(...."not happy Jan":mad2:

I will send them yet another email once I know that the issues have arrived out here. I got home last night to see something wrapped in plastic sticking out of the letter box. I excitedly pulled it out to find it was some junk mail from Telstra...talk about disapointed :mad2:

I had not recieved the US edition by Tuesday morning...Usually mine comes around the 15th...I have always gotten mine.

Of course on Wednesday my mail went on hold because I will be overseas until early November...so I won't be able to tell you when it does come...until I get back...

I am sure that it is frustrating!

Well it is now Sunday 21st and I didn't receive anything in the mail on Friday. I will give them Moday for it to arrive (not that I expect it to) before I send them ANOTHER email. One possibility is one of their databases is out of sync. I recall many months ago getting a renewal notice. I logged in to pay, time seemed to go really quickly since I last paid, and it said I was paid up until 2010! After contacting them several months later about several missing issues they updated my expiry to early 2011 now. Since about then, I have not received an issue except September (the plastic looked it had gone via the Moon). Maybe they have one database that keeps track of subscriptions, which has me as 2011, and another one that keeps track of which ones are to be sent, which has me as expired. Some sort of glitch may have got the two out of sync, hence the renewal notice? My wife suggested that I cancel my subscription open a new account and transfer the balance over to the new account, maybe this will work. I dropped into the newsagent yesterday and picked up a copy of Astronomy, which looks good. Maybe I can get them to transfer my credit over to their rival magazine and they can put S&T in a black hole (where the Sun don't shine).
