On the 13th of October, we had a sizable Star Party at Astroron's "Cambroon Observatory"
While organizing the group photo, something was seen.
Guess what it was?

An IIS member being lifted to the heavens by a handful of helium balloons, possibly never to be seen again.

I blame demon alcohol (seen in one member's hand) for the lack of concern on everyone's faces!

Its a PP (Pointing Picture). We always took one at gatherings in Bunbury :)

A mass, field test of underarm deodorant? Most fingers, even allowing for parallax, are pointing in different directions and none of the multiple choice objects have that degree of spatial extension?

fine photo! i do believe that we were pointing at our inhibitions, lofting away on a fresh spring breeze, thus leaving the night clear for fun and hilarity!

Possibly a lone cloud on the horizon and everyone was willing it away.

Looks like a job for SuperHoughy

I reckon it was staged so that this poll could be posted to keep us busy guessing while it is cloudy outside.

Well, they obviously were not pointing at a plane, as no laser pointers are in evidence. I suspect they were playing a game of "find Sigma Octans" for someone who had just arrived with a wedge.

It was a cloudy day, and they're pointing at the only sucker hole in the
sky looking pretty happy about it!

Whatever it was, I reckon 1ponders was the instigater as he's the only
one not in the picture lol.

Awww, shucks! I really, REALLY wanted the correct answer to be SuperH0ughy, red undies on the outside of his thermal tights, blazing a trail through the Cambroon skies!:eyepop::eyepop:

Also, I did have three attempts, but in the final analysis, was somewhat guilty of “insider trading” - well, sort of.;);)

Earlier on I was looking at the Cambroon (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=24394&page=4)thread, Msg #78, when I spotted….a beautiful photo of…the crescent Moon!!:whistle::whistle:
