Hi All,
Well I finally setup the LX90 on its wedge, managed to carry it one piece out the door as well with a little effort. Spent and hour or two trying to find Sigma Octans and polar aligning the scope with the finder as a polar scope. I spotted the Octans box with the binoculars and then marked it out using one of the house window frame edges as the rough reference. Initial 2 star alignment produced a 5' error (not exact sure what this means). Then i lost power, note to self build new power cord the one i have is to loose. Tried to perfect the visual alignment but i think i messed it up as the error now was much higher. Saw Orion on the rise and thought I might try that new toy of mine. Here are three tests at 30s, 20s and 15s at iso 800 using the Celestron F6.3 FR. Note the stair trail. I set on Raw + L so these are the jpeg's resized of the camera, no processing. This was just a experiment to check how well I had aligned. I was going to do more then the battery ran out.. Doh!. Oh well I had fun.
Regards
