Hi Guys, just thought i would share this with you, although the pic is a little old, the temperature stays the same.

This is what Ken and I have to put up with in winter when imaging, isn't that right Ken... :whistle: come on Ken, say something, anyway hope you like it.

I stayed in ballarat while at uni....tiss very cold and cloudy. only ventured out once in 3 years to see halley's grand comet in 86!!!!! it was worth it!:D

:lol: it's not that bad here!

Those that come to the Astro Camps here at Snake Valley can attest to that.
In summer it is way hotter than Melbourne and we wished we had frost!!!
But yes, winter is very bitter here.

Cold in Ballarat but colder in Norway when it was -52C and i was sitting in a small tent :P Bloody Marines :rofl:. Wasn't interested in astronomy then, but if i had a scope then, i would have been frozen stiff to it.

Thanks Leon, I'll see how I go with this copy, I wanted to try a technique called "High-Key" where the highlights are blown for effect.

I'll post it here when done.
