Howdy,
Really wanted to capture NGC6188 before it was too late. I can't capture from the west due to my neighbours huge tree. Only managed to get 4 x 5 mins at ISO 400 which was disappointing. The sky was still bluish then at 7:27pm .
I guess next year but then another one added to the collection as i haven't imaged this one as yet.
Cheers.

When I looked at the thumbnail I wasn't expecting such a beautiful image to open up! :)
This image shows some lovely subtlety.
Well done Eric! I would love to see what you could do with this object when you get a chance to spend more time on it.

Fine image Eric, but are you sure it is ngc 1688? the NGC catalogue has it as a 12mag galaxy in Dorado?
A very lovely capture Eric, fantastic detail and colour.
A fine effort
