The Butterfly cluster taken at Oberon in the motel carpark.

Meade ED80, EQ6 unguided

1 by 3 min
1 by 4 min with Eos 400d

:eyepop:in a car park , nice cluster ,:thumbsup:. i like the sattelite trail to it adds a nice sense of realism about it.
an often missed target i think due to the size of this cluster :)

Thanks, I was wondering what that was. I thought it was an aeroplane trail. A sattelite trail seems far more apt :)

usually an airplain shows up like this :eyepop: not good at all :mad2: and yes my chip is manky !!

Well done on a nice result, the star colours look good.

Some more post-processing could bring out some more detail and darken the background more. I'd probably also keep your exposures a bit shorter to avoid the trailing.
