Just some test images with the dsi c.
Comments welcome.
All taken with a crappy meade 70mm reflector.
Picking up a 120 mm achromat fl 600mm tomorrow :)

Martin what kind of mount did you use? I gather an AZ ??? in which case the slightly oval stars can be explained... if an eq polar is out. What exposure times did you use?
However for a 70mm and first time at the wheel they look great.
What f/l is the 70mm?
Very promising and for me (with two dsi's in the mail) very encouraging.
What mount (if any) is coming with the new scope?.

Round stars - good start.....
What objects are they?
Alexander it is an fl 700mm and 10sec exposures, it is the cheap scope that makes the stars oval :( The mount is an eq5.
Plasmodium your guess is as good as mine, i'm an total noob at this :P

I dont know what that squiggly dotted line is Shawn, but it could be an satelite.
It was going very slow and it took about 40 seconds to move from right to left.
Would be more likely an airplane, given it's a flashing red/pink light - doesn't look much like an aircraft though..... Looks like someone sewed across the pic!
