for the new guys that may not have seen the dew shields l am making l thought l might post a few pics along with new prices, for Ice In Space members they will be $120.00 + post, regardless of size or any colour you choose, a percentage of all sales will go back to Iceman to help with the running of the site. they're made from .6 gauge galvanised steel so even if they scratch they wont rust, weight for a 10" shield is 1050 grams.

Is it still worth getting a dew heater as well - or does this system make that superfluous ?

it really depends on your situation, if you have both you have a perfect solution, where l live we have had very heavy dew lately and the shields are very effective with no moisture getting to the corrector lens, another benefit of the shield is the blocking of stray light in built up areas.
