these next series of images were taken today at the mattara parade and the maritime festival in Newcastle. Taken with a pentax k10D and the 50-500 lens. I have to say the ski boats were very difficult. It was a wonderful day, enjoyed with the family and the highlight was my son rock climbing for the very first time. I was a proud dad I can tell you!!

A broad and varied portfolio there Mr H0ugh, demonstrating either your consummate skills, or the technical capabilities of the K10D…;)
Good work in getting some nicely focused shots of the speedboats with that large piece of glass when they were moving so fast. That superman geezer is a bit of a worry.:eyepop:
I got a crick in my neck when looking at your son completing his first horizontal climb.
Cheers

Nicely done Dave, looks like a fun day out. Glad there were no waterfalls on that rock ledge! ;)

 I for one wouldn't want to be standing underneath if there was.
Great shots, Dave. Looks like it was an excellent day.
