Hi guys,

On October 3rd I early got up, I think it was about 5:30 German time.Well, I looked through the window and I promptly saw the bright venus. So I went outside and set up my equipment. There was a magical mood. The whole nature still slept, the venus twinkled from the deep blue sky and the moon shone over my head, very close to the zenith. Then I watched the moon through the telescope.Man alive, it was so great.:eyepop:Because of moments like this I love the astronomy.Ok, but now the pictures:

Hey iceman and joshman, Thank you very much indeed! Venus is absolutly my favourite planet, because she changes her face very quickly and so it is never boring. greetings, Andreas

good show .. captured gradual phase change.. i had a go and it was all overdone..... just a white crescent....

if youre really keen they reckon if you picture venus in uv you can get cloud detail....out of my league though.

Hey Alchemy,

Yeah, I want to try it.I already have an UV screen. But my screen effects a pretty dark sight of venus. So I have to capture with a low magnification otherwise the venus seems to dark and you can't see anything what look like clouds.
I think I need a bigger telescope with more aperture for more brightness:D!

Greetings, Andreas
