Hi guys,

To my delight, "telescopes" told me they had a pair of rings that could fit my scope (for my HEQ5 mount). I had to wait 2 to 3 weeks for them to order and send, and they arrived yesterday.

And of course, they don't fit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! :mad2:

Anyone know where I can get rings to fit a 162mm (tube diameter) scope?

Yeah, I asked them a few weeks ago, and they said those 160mm ones wouldn't fit. :(

DJ why dont u use the ring setup on the scope and make that to fit the new mount.

I don't have any hardware/tools here in Brisbane.

I've called telescopes and the dude said they must've sent the wrong set. He's going to check it out and (hopefully) send the right set this week.

Telescopes found me some rings!! Said they might be a tiny bit too big, but that's easy enough to fix. Should arrive by Monday!! I'll finally get this scope on my HEQ5!!!!
