This is my first light with my Imaging Source DBK31 cam. This is my first semi-serious attempt at planetary imaging (I fiddled with an LPI a little while back!)

This is the best 1296 frames of 3300 (1 minute 51 secs) stacked in Registax. I'm a complete noob with Registax, so perhaps it is a little over processed in the wavelet processing.

Note that this is cropped from the original 1024x768 image. This is a colour cam (I'm too lazy to bother with changing filters!), so I am quite happy with the result.

Seeing was quite bad, and was windy to boot.

This was taken with an LX200GPS 10" at F10, alt-az

Well Turbo looks pretty damn good to me mate, you have done a beautiful job. The image scale was probably perfect for the conditions and you have bought out a heap of detail. Nicely done. Whats a DBK31 by the way got any links?

Great result Turbo, you'd have to be happy with that first light. The processing and colour looks very good.

Next steps: Put a barlow in! :) Get a larger image scale.

Andrew - the DBK31 is the DBK31AF04 - it's the big brother of the DMK21AF04, though it's a colour chip and a larger format (1024x768 instead of 640x480).

The larger format will be great when imaging the moon.
