Hope the Galah wasn’t pigeon-toed?

The galah looks like me coming in to land when using FSX. The dove, of course, is the air traffic controller. :mad2:
Great image, Johnno.
oh dear! !:scared2:
either the galah has become a carnivore and has a taste for pigeon or we are wittnessing animal pron which shouldnt be on the forum:evil:

Hi All,
Thanks,for the very kind comments.
The pic was just zoomed,on the camera,to get rid of the vignette,
and slightly sharpened,using Canon's zoombrowser 5.8
To be honest,I was just checking out a little "Made in Ussr "8-20 x 32mm spotting scope that had just arrived from Ebay.
I was sitting on our bed, using the scope through the open window, and had pressed the shutter button halfway,to check focus was ok,ON THE DOVE,
Balancing,zoom,and focus,on this little scope,is tricky.
Just as I pressed the shutter all the way down, the Galah, had landed on the feeder.(hence the wings outstreched)
Probably, would never get another shot like it,if I tried.
Just pure luck.
Pic included,of the scope.
It's no ED 80,but, optics, although Small 32 mm, are very good, especially for $26.00.
Its,a lot lighter, just for a quick look too.

Just out of interest,
This little scope is called a "Tourist-P",
and the user Manual that came with it is stamped ?-9-1981,
In Fact, the booklet,on the last page only goes up to 198 Blank.
Very well made, and as far as I can tell,Solid Aluminium body, end to end.
Has the pinkish coatings,on the objective, very similar to my Ussr made 20x60 Binoculars, which are quite old.
HOWEVER,the images, are much brighter, in the scope, than the Binoculars??
Perhaps,someone here,knows more?
The scope IS,brand New.
The Ebay seller, has already sold several, with another listed.
where he got them from,
Darned,if I know.
Cheers.John
That's what you call perfect timing, great shot
Leon
