Thank you all for the encouragement.
I live in a wonderful place. Here is a shot of Greensnake Creek which gives an idea of the place

May I introduce "Snakey" his is not a green snake but lives around and in my house. Good for rat disposal. When he (she?) was little it would hide inside my shirt and poke its head out my sleeve or the "head hole".. he is not tame these days and doesnt like to be picked up

Now that's better , no false coloring this time.

Did you get just the 6"OTA or the whole package with the LX55/75 mount?

I have had the sn150 and goto mount for about two years. I dont really ever use the goto facilities because it presented me with various teething problems. Unfortunately before consolidating this aspect of my experience I purchased a 150 ar (celestron) and got into using it, various cameras (lpi web cam 300d and 2 quality 35mm) then the astro fotowork.. and last time in Sydney couldnt resist a 12 inch dob..I have so many astro projects going my application in some areas is less than required for useful results.I now have a 70mm ar 80 mm ar 150 sn 150 ar 302 dob 235 newt not including various scopes made from junk. just too many toys to play with I,m afraid.. but there is still room for a 14 to 18 inch in the vission.

Wow what a collection. :eyepop:
I usually sell one scope to fund the next step up , but have a travel scope for those time in between scopes.

Still have the 60mm lens from my very first scope --about 9 scopes and 36 years ago.

It's amazing you get any viewing done---must take you all night to figure out which one to use  :D

Wadya mean ..I use them all at once.. the 302 is sortta the finder, the balance used for observing and fotos... not every night but every good night.. My wife moved out and the place is now a dedicated astronomy/workshop observatory. But I admit having only been into it for two and a half years the collection sort of got out of hand.
