yoinked from astromonmy.com this picture was taken by NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft from 29.6 million kilometers away. it shows our moon as well :eyepop:

I love how you can see the differences in the technology used.... the voyager pic looks so pixelated... but i bet that pic in the 1970's would of made everyone excited and in awe!...
But personally i like the galileo pic the best

I like the Near photo best, it seems sharper and more detailed.

I like vings one, as it's the only one that appears to be at scale.. the others look like they've just been plonked in the same photo.. are they real?

I Like the Voyager but only because they are my vavourite explorers and when we first saw them they where brilliant. astroron
