I couldn't resist. About 2 more nights before I can use the DSI, and the weather was fantastic again tonight, so I fired up the Toucam and took these 3 last shots.
Again, I'm sorry about the Amp Glow, and the lack of processing. Too cold and too late to be bothered doing too much with them.
I won't be taking any more images with the Toucam. Weather is bad for the next few nights, and the DSI will be running by then.
Thankyou for enjoying my Toucam shots over the last 2 years
Here's the last 3.
1. Fornax Cluster
2. NGC 253
3. Trifid

They ARE officially the last shots, Vingo.
The Toucam has already been placed into the guidescope and the wiring connections switched over to a different computer. And a pain in the butt to put back again if I needed to. Ony 1 or 2 days more for the DSI show :) (if the weather plays nice)
Still looking good Ken but that ampglow is getting very bad.
The dsi will be in soon hopefully.

Yeah, that Fornax shot was only a stack of 180 second images!!!! It's got so bad that anything longer is destroyed.
The other 2 images had to be kept down around 80 seconds and they still have it. I definately won't miss it
Thanks Nick, but let's not get carried away
I haven't even tried it yet :P

Well, I recieved my Powered Hub today from Darren in Melbourne, and HOORAY! it makes the DSI work!!!!!
I tested it today on an empty house about 1k away, and all is good
Then as sunset came, so did the thunderstorm and wind
No clear weather until Saturday, but I can wait that long :)
Nice images Ken, hope that weather clears real soon.
Cheers
