Having just contracted aperture fever, my Saxon 70mm x 500mm refractor is now for sale. I have had it for about 9 months and found it suitable as a beginners 'scope. It could also function quite well as a guide 'scope or for terrestrial use. The portability and stability of the Alt/Az mount (with slow mo controls) is very attractive, especially if you have children and enjoy travelling. The telescope is in excellent, as new condition and would make a good Xmas present for a young person. I have tossed away the original ep's and have added Bintel 6mm, 9mm, 15mm plossel ep's and a Meade 25mm plossel. The telescope is reviewed somewhere else on this site. I have the original packaging and could post but that would be extra (I don't know how much) to the $150 I am asking.
