A bargain ,but Grant its the SCT adaptor type so if you get it you wont be able to use your Microfocuser , to connect it it screws on the back of the visual back of the LX , you need the refractor style to work in tandem with the MF.
Some vibration pads being sold as well , very handy.

you can buy a Lumicon 2" visual back adapter so the William Optical diagonal will work with both the SCT and a refractor so you only need to buy the refractor type diagonal. Bintel have them for $69.00.

He won't need it Mick as he already has the Microfocuser which takes 2" accessories. Alternatively Grant that missing accessory I sent you this week has an SCT thread on it. It can go in in place of the 1/25 adapter and you can use the threaded star diagnal then:thumbsup:
I'd still suggest you go for the refractor diagonal anyway Grant. Just incase you end up buying an 80mm ED scope to go on top :D

hmm guys - sorry you are moving too fast for me.
I have Mark's ole Andrews 2" EP.
If I buy this WO diagonal, will I have all I need to get the 2" up and running ?

Probably the prefered way to go is to get a 2" diagonal that slips straight into the microfocuser after removing the 1.25 adapter. This is generally class as a refractor diagonal as it has no threads.
A dedicated SCT diagnal has a threaded ring on one end that is supposed to attache directly to the back of the telescope (to the visual back thread). But you have the microfocuser attached there. Now, I know you don't want to take the focuser off as I saw how much you were in love with it, so you have two options.
1. get the refractor diagonal
or
2. In the mail this week you should get an SC accessory adaptor. It goes in where your 1.25 adapter goes now. With this in place you can then screw the genuine SCT diagonal to the back of the microfocuser.
The only real disadvantage of the SCT one being advertised is that it will sit an inch or two further back from the microfocuser than the refractor one, adding more "lever weight" to back of the scope.
Now if at some point in the future you want to get a small refractor as long as it has a 2" focuser, you can slip the SC accessory adaptor into the focuser and then the SCT diagonal, will fit the refractor.
Realistically though the Refractor diagonal is much less of a pain in the butt. It just slots straight in, the SCT one has to be screwed on and off when you want to attach something else to the scope. We have one for the C11 at the mapleton observatory and I really don't like it. Unfortunately we don't have a microfocuser so were stuck with it atm.
Hope this helps remove some of the confusion Grant

ahh - thanks. I can live with that :)
The SC adaptor arrived - looks like that WO diagonal will accept the SC, and this just slots straight into the back of the MF. Thanks for the advice guys :)

I am not in the market to guzzump anyone but i did come across this on earlier today and sent off an email to see if it is for real. I have been after one for the right price for a while and after seeing trufflehunters in the flesh I wanted one. I hope it is still available?
