Nice one Andrew - I usually see it in red's though - did you modify the white balance to give the cyan/blue's?

I adjusted the White balance for the background not the object, the original was really red from light pollution, so I adjusted it till it went to a darker black/blue. Easier to work with, than a red picture.
Great image Andrew, for a single exposure you've captured a lot of detail and the colours look great.

There is a surprising amount of detail in there if you stretch it more aggressively. This could be why your background was so red - it may have been the nebula itself.
With that level of detail, a few frames should stack nicely.
Attached is a desaturated stretch, just to show the level of nebulosity captured.
