Hi people :hi:
I haven't touched my scope for 2years.. decided to gather all the bits and pieces in the backyard last weekend. It took me a night to setup the gear and another night to re-learn how to use it..
At my new house I counted 4 street lamps visible above the fence line. I must get me one of those filters, it looks like they are quite affordable now..

anyway, for my 1st attempt in 2 years I chose the helix nebula...

here it is anyhow, nothing spectacular though..
20 x 180sec ISO800 canon 350d, EQ6, F5 newtonian etc..etc

Mate if that was my 1st attempt in 2 years or 1st attempt ever, I'd be cracking open the moet! Great shot.
