Hello,
Might be a silly question, but does it come with a power supply? if so what type, also are there any extras that you haven't mentioned in your add.
Thanks

Meade #541F AC adapter is to run the scope from a 240v power socket, has 25ft cord. It has a cigarette lighter type fitting in the middle so it can be separated and plugged into a lighter socket.
It can also be run on 8 D cell batteries.

How much do you think it would cost to ship to Melbourne Metro?
And how does is perform in Polar mode for photos?

I will try to get you a price tomorrow, I would guess it would be costly to ship.
I have not actually used it much in polar mode, me skill level with it does not do it any justice at all. When I have used it in polar mode it does track extremely well tho.
Thanks Portmac, hope it's not too much, we'll see.
Another couple of questions for you:
Does the unit come with GPS (I think all new LX90's do, yours may not) and does it have the UHTC coatings (it may or may not be standard at the time)?
Thanks.

The LNT model is pre-GPS.
If you look carefully at the photo, you can see the words "Ultra High Contrast". i.e. UHC.
Morton
hmmm, can't seem to spot it...
Which photo are you looking at morton?

The close-up of the lens. It's the wording on the left, which is very out of focus! ;)
Morton
Aahh yes I saw that before but couldn't make out what it said.
Well there you go, thanks Morton.

Please note my LX90 also says UHC but this is not the same as UHTC. Mine also says EMC on the side.

It does not have GPS but it does have the UHTC coatings :)
Hopefully tomorrow I will have a transport price, never thought getting a price would be so hard.
Anyone have any suggestions of transport companies to use?

I used Airoad to bring my G-11 down from seller in QLD and it cost about 90. You have to make sure its packed well and labeled. Others quoted 2-3x as much higher and generally would only deal with Companies.

I have rang Airoad and they quoted me $140 - $160 to transport it from Port Macquarie to Melbourne (door to door).

Thats odd, i used there website to creat an account and book the freight. You can also get an online quote there. My consignment was 5 boxes about 65kg in total with a cubic weight of 48Kg. Possibly due to the larger boxes of the Meade your cubic weight may be more.
Try this site http://www.airroaddirect.com.au/airroad/home.sok
There seems to be two Airroad sites perhaps for different types of customers.
If you want pm me with your dimensions and weight and i will get a quote for you with my registered account.

When I try to get a price from that site I get:
"UNFORTUNATELY YOU WILL NEED TO CALL AIRROAD DIRECT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM ON 1300 555 450 TO DISCUSS A PICKUP FROM THIS AREA."

Ok I checked it and you are right if you put a regional post code in you get that message. If you put pickup from 2000 (Sydney) it then goes tot he next page for dimensions. I think that is perhaps the reason for the extra cost they quoted you. As mine was from metro to metro perhaps this is priced at a lower rate. And I would guess they subcontract pickups and drops in regional areas to other companies making the cost higher perhaps. By the way the number given was it the same one you called.

To answer a few questions I keep getting in P.M's:
1. Yes the scope is still for sale.
2. No I will not split up the package, I wish to sell it complete.
