ok so here is my first attempt at m31
2 mins exp x 11 iso800 , darks and bias applied , some of my dodgy processing technics :whistle:
st80 refractor , neodymium filter

A good effort Col with nice colour, is that the Triangulum galaxy above it as well.

Nice shot there little col. excellent colours and very sharp.
Ric I could be wrong but I think that's M110 above and the smudge below it is M32. Maybe someone with more knowledge than me can correct me????

Col, nice shot! Making me hungry to see it through my scope for the first time - I've only seen it through binoculars before.
Yes, that would be M110 (smudge upper left) and M32 (bright core, same level to right)

thanks for all your kind comments , i have made this into a working project now to see if i can combine a few hundred frames for less noise and more detail :D
