Everyone is probably sick of eclipse images by now, so I'm not posting any individual images, but I have made a time-lapse movie with a few of them (only using about 1/15th of them in this movie). Cloud early in the evening had mostly cleared by the start of the partial phases.

Very nice Gordon. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing this spectacle once more. Obviously the result of a lot of hard work – thanks for sharing.

Cheers

That is well worth being posted Gordon.

There's a lot of work in that! I know from experience. It takes quite a bit of time and effort to not just take the shots but then put them together in some kind of final product like that.

Nice one

Lovely sequence, Gordon. Excellent control of the exposures and great registration.

Well done.

Thanks all. The registrations are not as good as I would like, viewing the movie at high speed shows it up :)
Its also interesting to see the moon increase in size as it gets higher in the sky and closer, plus the parallax change which mimics libration during the animation.

I liked the smooth transition between phases. Was that done in a movie editor?

yes, Windows movie maker - frames fading in and out.
