Hello all,
Here's a reprocessed version of an image I did last month.
http://www.skylab.com.au/pmsa/NGC%206067.html
It's southern star cluster NGC 6067.
The image is 45-minute exposure (15 x 3 min. sub-frames) @ ISO200
with the modified Canon 300D on my observatory mounted
12" f/5 newtonian telescope and autoguided on a G-11 mount
with SBIG 402 CCD camera and 4.5" f/9 newtonian guidescope.
:) cheers
Looks great, nice tracking.
Is there any kind of filter or anything to take all those background stars out? It makes the picture confusing & takes the main focus point off of 6067. Just wondering :)
Not saying anything bad about your picture because it's excellent, so don't take it that way. All good!
Lovely presentation of NGC 6067. Data is stetched very well and colour balance looks good. Slightly over saturated IMO, but still visually pleasing.

Thanks all for your comments. I agree Scott, it's a deep exposure and the population of background stars is totally awesome. It's another great Southern Skies Star Cluster that is rarely imaged. I should probably send this image of to our friends in the northern hemisphere.
Kind Regards
