ccd cmera software for vista pc

Forgive me everyone, for I am not much of a wizz on the ol' PC, but I bought a new laptop (Vista OS) and the software which works on my older PC doesnt seem to work on my new laptop. Spewing that I couldn't take photos of the lunar eclipse. Cheers, Wozza

What type of camera are you using Wozza? While I don't have vista (than goodness) my experience with it on other peoples laptops was not encouraging. You may find that the compatibility wizard may help with getting some programs and drivers up and running but it is by no means sure fire .

Thanks Paul, the camera is an Acuter brand imager and I downloaded free software called PhotoLib2002??? and then I downloaded Registax. I will try your suggestions though.
