Guys I'd like some comments on my lunar eclipse shot taken last night.
This image is a single shot (not stacked). I didn't use my scope for this shot. I actually used a cheap macro adapter screwed on the front of a 50mm lens. It turned out to give a very high magnification! I was very happy with the detail. I was especially surprised that I could make out the mountain ranges on the limbs.
The colour is quite intense but I have not fiddled with the saturation.
I was hoping to get some background stars but unfortunately none are apparent.

Comments?

Michael
