I like it Chris, very nice.
How did you go with the static progression?

Thanks Mike - I still have to process these images as what I quickly cut and pasted here hasn't gone through any processing at all yet.
The static progression was done on film - so I have to get to it yet. Hopefully this week :)

Hi Chris, I think the Megrez did very well!
I particularly like the middle one with the turquoise flash. Beautiful.
What exposure times were you using? I assume you were tracking on an EQ mount?

Hey there Morton :)
The Megrez did do very well for an achromat. There was only a few minutes of uncontrollable violet at the umbral exit - of which theemerging sliver was so bright that I think all cameras, lenses and telescopes would have difficulty coping with anyway. The levels of contrast were incredible. I considered whacking a minus violet on, but then I would have lost the rest of it.
The middle sequence you are pointing out was taken at around 1/2 sec at ISO200. I did't track at all. I had it mounted to a Celeston fork mount witha base plate fitted in between the forks. It wasn't aligned as all I had to do was tweak it every few minutes for another shot.
Yours turned out damn well - and all within a city vista! How's the 90 going? I see that your WO collection is growing!:thumbsup::thumbsup: I'm going to look at the FLT132 soon.... I hope.
Cheers
Chris
