Hi all,
What a great experience we all had last night..:), well for most of us!!
I have missed the last few due to cloud so it was great to see the whole eclipse from beginning to end.. just a little high cloud to start but after a hour it had just about disappeared..:)
Was kept rather busy imaging with the newt as well as doing the wideange shots.
Here is one of my images from last night from the middle of totality...
details are 8 seconds at iso 200 with my 6" f5.6 newt and Canon 300d.
Havn`t processed any others as yet as not feeling the best. Shall take some time to go through the other 150 pics...:)
Only done some levels and a little contrast and thats it..
cheers everyone...

Looks great! Man I wish I had a tripod last night ... I have a reasonable camera (canon digital SLR) but I couldn't get any clarity once the eclipse was well under way :(

Thanks Jaala.... , yeah totality really needs a good tripod as the exposures are usually may seconds long and a mount that tracks puts the icing on the cake..
cheers

Thanks everyone for the comments, looks like we all had some success last night!. I think my red channel is still a bit strong although I altered the levels the same as I always do to get the color balance right. I am surprised how sharp some have come out!
When I feel a bit better I shall get stuck into them!!!
