All the Apollo landing sites are visible, although you will probably only be able to resolve lunar features down to around 1 to 2 kms in size with your ‘scope.

No earth based telescope, or even the Hubble, can resolve sufficient detail on our Moon to see the remnants of the Apollo 11 to 17 missions, nor the many Surveyors, Rangers, Lunakods (sp?), etc that litter the Moon’s surface.

Some amateur astronomers have tried to take high resolution images of the crash site caused by one of the spent stages on the Saturn V which was crashed into the Moon after the mission departed. Calculations put the surface scar at around 300-500 metres I think?

Download the free Virtual Moon Atlas from here (http://www.astrosurf.com/avl/UK_index.html)and it will show you the position of the Apollo missions.

Cheers

Dennis
