View Full Version here: : Jupiter, 25th August
A strong high pressure system has cleared the skies for the first time in weeks, so here's another Jupiter image from two nights ago...
Seeing was ok, maybe 7/10. Jupiter is slowly getting harder to reach.

Wonderful image Anthony. I stepped back about 2 metres from my pc and the image scale was fantastic. Great detail too:thumbsup:
Thanks guys. Robin, the pains involved in digital format images, everyone sees them differently due to screen resolution etc...
cheers, Bird

Beautiful image Anthony! I've seen the clear skies the last few days but haven't done any imaging.. thanks for showing me what Jupiter looks like.

Wow Anthony – thanks for reminding me how good Jupiter looks, and how on top of your game you are! Another fantastic image from the Bird stable.
Cheers
Dennis
err, sorry bout that chief! It's supposed to be about 120mm across, about 5" (on my screen anyway).

Wow Bird,
What a magnificent Joop, incredible detail made even more incredible by the fact that the disc is well off max.
It's enough to make me drag my gear out the cupboard again!
cheers,
Rob
