lovely little green spider from my backyard. taken via reversed lens macro. :) taken at about 1/500 sec @ f/16 with 1/16 power flash.:thumbsup:

i used mt nikon d40. the lens is a pentax 50mm f/1.4 at f/16 which is the max for the lens. the lens was mounted reversed (ie front lens closest to the chip) and held on with rubber bands. I could buy an adapter to allow me to couple the lens to body in reverse properly... but i couldnt be bothered :D
i am really quite happy with this shot. its not cropped at all :D
my best macro to date me thinks. I will have to make a print of it :D

that's a 100% resized photo? you've certainly done well!, there's DIY sites out there that have tutorials on how to make your own reverse macro lens adapter, but you'll have to sacrifice a few covers for things.
so you used a 50mm prime eh? nice going, that'll probably be the next lens i add to my arsenal.
