just a quick session with all my regular gear (8" dob, 2mp sony digicam, 9mm GSO Ep..)
some moonage there if you look
seeing was 4/10 trransparence 5-6/10

Any shot that gets three moons, ving, is a good shot. How about dropping it into PS, use the magic wand tool to just select jupiter and have a play with the levels and colour etc. I can't do much with your uploaded image, but I'm sure you could bring out more detail
hmm... good idea.
might have a go at home sometime. I was please to get 3 moons and any surface detail. :)
I think it was a touch out of focus tho and I did use the digital zoom... wich i usually dont touch.

David, is your 8" an f5 or f6? I have the same 9mm EP but at f5 I can't seem to get it that good.

yes asimov and i sit up the front of the class with our hands straight up in the air answering all the questions. Our hair is parted neatly down the middle by our mothers and our favourite hangout is the library. Our favourite friend in the whole wide world is a person that works in a library!
