Like I said on MMS great work Suart
Many good luna images, even from the top guys, look a bit "pushed" to get the fine detail but this looks perfectly natural and you have still revealed some fine detail there, well done!
What was the seeing like do you think?

Nice one again! Do you have a link to the larger version?
How many avi's made up the mosaic?

Thanks for all the nice comments.
10 avi's. Camera was DMK21af04, LX200GPS 8" at prime focus (f10). Seeing was average at best Mike. Yes I have a larger version, http://tinyurl.com/29pu7d
Really I was just practicing for next week, I had already confirmed that I had all the bits necessary to attach the f6.3 reducer to my Nikon, the moon fills the full frame. I dropped an eyepiece in and saw the mountains, just had to put the DMK in and have a go. Didn't really try too hard to get a full mosaic in, just to capture some nice bits.
Cheers

Nice - certainly better than the eyepiece view I had last night. It was shaking and shimmying in Melbourne! :)
Hi Stuart, very nice image. The mountain range at the bottom and the shadow effects look great.
Cheers
Wow great capture Stuart !!!
