e-mail madness

A few hours ago I wanted to change my e-mail address to my hotmail account but for some reason it didn’t work no new activation e-mail appeared. I’m now back on my old e-mail but can some one tell me what’s happened. :shrug:

It might have ended up in the hotmail spam folder. Have a look, it's probably still there. They seem to be a little over-zealous with their spam filtering.
