Still unpacking, recharging, etc..

Had the flu for most of my week away, as did Abbey :(

More later.

Hope everyone else had a nice time and is well.

Anna and I have been at it flat chat since BSG but reality will hit when we go back to work next week.

The more Star Parties you attend, the less you want them to end.

You're going to have a great time Ken.
Phil and Liz are very lovely people, they stopped off here the other day and we had a great time.
I finally got to meet them face to face after two years of chatting with Phil on line.

Even the kids didn't stop talking about them.
Wish we had more time to enjoy each others company.
:)

 No

Phil rang and said the trip from Echuca took longer than he thought, and they arrived at Ballarat in the late afternoon, completely knackered. So they are coming Sunday morning

At least the sight of Phil won't be strange. We have video chatted on Skype. :P

Phil and Liz dropped in today
and mighty fine people they are :)

I don't think I was the best host I could've been as I was suffering a massive migraine, but I didn't let them know or they might have cancelled.

I showed them my set-up and Phil is taking a great autoguiding idea home to make one for himself. It is an idea invented by Bert, and it works fantastic.

It was great catching up with them as they play 'Leyland Brothers' travelling all over the counrtyside :P
They will be back home in the country of Tasmania Monday night. So we will hopefully get the tale of their adventures on Tuesday night ;)

You did a fine job Ken, I wouldn't have guessed... Got back home today, from 31 degrees at Duckadang to a brisk 12 degrees here today. I'm hoping they'll build the pulp mill as HRH & I have made a pact that we're quitting the state (for a warmer part of the country) if it goes ahead. It was great to catch up with some of the IIS members, we came home via Echuca and Ballarat, but really didn't allow enough time to properly enjoy the surrounds. Next time maybe.
