Hi All,
After finishing the NGC6188 picture, Sculptor was rising above the Melbourne mire.
This is a cropped image as the LP was pretty bad.

Stuart,
That is a great image of NGC 253!!!
You have captured a heap of detail in the spiral arms. Something I couldn't get.
253 seems popular in the last 24 hours
Very nice Stuart, lots of detail right into the core.
Well done
Nicely composed Stuart. Well done!

In response to the many requests...
Scope : Skywatcher ED80.
Mount : 8'LX200GPS, piggybacked.
Camera : SBig ST-10XME, CFW8, AO7.
All shots were guided using the AO7 using just the mirror tilt/tip. I couldn't be bothered calibrating the mount axes. Luminance was 4x300 sec subs, RGB 5x120sec subs (binned 2x2). Captured using CCDSoft. Calibrated, registered and median combined using CCDStack. Colour synthesis and Luminance layering in PS CS2.
Scope is permanently mounted and drift aligned in a ROR observatory. See Mark at Myhouse Kennels and Cubbies for one!!
Cheers
