m20 and m21

Hi all took these images on monday night,same night as my m8, seeing got worse as the night went on,but i am not complaining at least i got nearly 9 hours imaging in:D:D all up

Seeing probably isn't affecting things too much at that focal length though.

Hi Rob,
good to see you going for it on an almost all nighter:thumbsup:
Was not too bad a night consider what we've been having.

Man, that is one mass of stars in a huge fov. Such a treasure trove of an area.
You've got your rgb alignment pretty spot on, Lum looks well aligned as well, so this is a good start to crank things up.
By that I mean, what struck me first off, the stars are dead looking.
I took the Jpg into PS and hit the curves and adjusted the back ground to being a little lighter. Also I desaturated the colour slightly as stretching to get vitality from the overall image made the colours a little eeeeeky, for want of better word.
I always used to make my stars dead looking so it's not a drama.
Don't be afraid to experiment and take your time.
This image has plenty of head room to work with, just see what you can come up with.

Good stuff and glad to see you up and away with all things sorted out in the hardware department.

I took this one in my Australia trip last month also. Yours shows much higher resolution than mine because I shot it with film.
