16/240sec@ISO800. Canon300D, WO 0.8X reducer and field flattener, Orion ED80 autoguided on Losmandy G11 with Starmate LX200 emulator, K2CCDTools and ToUcam as Guidecamera. I was very fortunate this week as my autoguiding was absolutely spot on 90% of the time.

Dark subtracted in ImagesPlus, follow up processing in PS. Conditions were a bit foggy or icy high up at time during the night so the brighter stars have a bit of a halo about them. Image cropped to about 2/3 size. Jpeg compression to get it down to size for the site has introduced a lot of noise.

I'm not sure about the boarder though :P

Great job Mr Ponders. You've got some great results from the week! Nice to see the other galaxy too, care of Glen's eagle eye.

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Guys.

If you look closely you will also see two more galaxies. One to the right of the bright left star (tucked in behind another star) and on below and to the right of the bright lower star.

Wow Paul, that's awesome, looks terrific !!
Colours look spot on to me, well done.

On the topic of the boarder, may I suggest maybe putting the image on a black background to enhance the contrast and detail in the image.
Just a thought.

Well done once again mate.
