Thanks Ken, compliment appreciated. It is a big sucker huh, ? ..needs more time I think, this was 1000 secs at 1600 with the the 350. :)
I like the spirals too Shawn.
Longer exposure would definitely help because ~17 min is not enough data to play with.
Still it's all fun and it certainly has some nice detail, especially for it's position.

I would love to try for this one, great image.
Lovely image Shawn, those spiral arms are amazing.
I would love to capture this one as well but not from current position, alas too many trees.

I used 'Space Noise Removal' action in PhotoShop :thumbsup:
Just click on it and it automatically removes it.

Great single shot Shawn! I imaged this last year and its not a easy target to bring out the fainter details. Need lots of data and time and a good steady sky...but very well done!
