Hi,

This is one and only one DSLR image taken from my Australia trip last month as my focus was on shooting films.

Unmodified EOS 350D + EF400mm F5.6L lens, unguided 11x60s @ iso 400 RAW, taken at Bird's frontyard. Stacked in DeepSkyStacker and post processed in PS.

Thanks so much to Bird for his assistance and hospitality to my trip.

Do you think this is a very excellent lens for astronomy? I strongly recommend you have one if you can afford it.

Any comment is appreciated.

Cheers,

LT

Wow, that looks like an EXCELLENT lens for astrophotography :eyepop:

The stars are SO SHARP. It seems like you're flying through space!

Nice image!

This is the first time we have seen an image taken with a 400mm lens. The image is stunning. :eyepop:

Thanks for sharing it with us LT
