Hi Phil,
You state LRGB... does this image combine the Ha data you presented in your previous post? I think the colour balance has gone wrong here as the image take on a mono tone feel. Try blending your colour data with the Ha or Lum set at 50%, then rebalance the colour. Once it looks good. Flatten the image and then blend the Ha or Lum again, but set at 100% (you end up with a LLRGB or HaHaRGB, if you get my drift). Simply adding your Ha or Lum at 100% on your first run makes it hard to balance the chrominance data. Considering your luminance is quite strong, you may also need to go deeper/longer on your RGB otherwise it will introduce noise and detract from the good work you've done on the luminance.

Hi Phil

Nice FOV that!

Like Jase said colour looks a bit off..bit like burned Orange but it doesn't matter cause I bet you had fun acquiring it and processing it?

Not every image has to be perfect to post, I've always said that and I am true to form most of the time

I like the way you managed to squeeze NGC 6164 in at the top too.

Thanks for the look

Mike

Thanks guys Jase you are right the RGB needs more exposure time. Had a hard time processing this one. Like Mike says not every image is perfect. But still had fun getting it.

Please don't get me wrong Phil, I was certainly not having a shot at you. Just providing some constructive feed back. Fully agree that every image doesn't need to be "picture perfect". As always, I'm happy to lend a hand (as are others).

Phil, do your self a favour, the ST11k offers very high res, its all wasted on a thumbnail here, build yourself a web site, eg a google pages site, takes 10 mins and its free (I should get paid for this ;-). Exploit the res you paid for. I hate to *****, but you need to do it, Jase, am I wrong?.
