Our Resident Sunbird

Virtually every morning, this little tacker patrols the bignonia vine at the side of the house, searching for nectar and tiny insects. He and his mate (yes, they mate for life) have nested in and around the house for the past 4 years. Last year, they nested in front of the front door.........well 1.2 metres from it!
Got a pic of him singing in the Tibouchina tree.
