I think that's the first time I've seen an image of the pointers as the main subject matter of the image..? Cool

You have shown the different colours of Alpha and Beta quite nicely.

There is a bit of green colour blotching visible my end otherwise a nice framing, is that a crop from a larger FOV?

Thanks, guys.

Mike Sidonio: what would be the cause of green colour blotching? Yes, it's a 1:1 crop from reprocessing my earlier widefield image of the Southern Cross and Pointers (click here 1MB) (http://www.zodiaclight.com/images/CrossAndPointers16x4Mins50mmf1-8atf6-3UnguidedISO800DarkFlat15Jul07go2Po ster1280.jpg)

I quite like that Bill, and as mentioned before, I too have never really seen an image of the Pointers as the main subject, sometimes they may end up in a shot, but that is an other matter, great image, well done.

Great image Bill, I like the way the pointers have come out, it's a great looking effect.
