Well, I have had a good seeing just for one hour and I thought to image at Uranus and using the same acquiring method used for Vesta I tryied to image albedo differences on the distant planet.
I used just f/10 because of the need of the short exposure time but I'll retry soon using f/18 or f/25 as I used on other planets.
The resul on the right is obtained just enhancing the contrast (UM long ray) on whole image or just on the red channel and falsing the color to show better the albedo differences.
I'm not sure of the right position of the SPR so I have to retry and search the right positioning of the camera.

Great image, Antonello.

I tried to capture Uranus the other night in good seeing but clouds ruined my chance. I'm hoping to get a better image this year than last year, since I've got my 12" + EQ6 now. Last year it was captured on my 10" + EQ platform.

The SP brightening looks about right, but I guess can be confirmed next time with proper camera orientation.

I really, really like this. There really ought to be more images of the outer gas giants.

Nice work.

Thanks all for nice comments :)

I have to try again at about 5700mm or 8900mm efl.
In the red band I hope to look at the SPR, of course with a right orientation.
