Meade DSI Pro

Optcorp is offering a meade DSI pro with coloured filter wheel for 229 USD, this is a special price probably because it is being discontinued.

At this price is it worth buying, it's less than half the RRP australian price?

I have bought a fair few things from OPT and once got a second hand meade illuminated reticle, so i am hoping they will ship.

I am not sure it is worth it though as the actual pixel count is not that high and i am not sure if 'drizzle' will work on my nexstar 11.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

As US Meade distributors will only ship to an American address, then this
is possibility for Australians.

Seem to be a lot of bargains around. Bintel have the Meade DSI for $AU149, DSI Pro for $189, or DSI Pro with filters for $309. Lots of US dealers have the DSI Pro for under $US100, apparently in advance of release of new models. Time to buy?!
