Just a quick question or two
Are we looking at the world upside down?
Why would a compass point up? and how come cfc's float up to the atmosphere and then head down to the southern hemesphere? Doesn't make any sense to me, but then again im Irish : ) I think south is up but the people who live in the northern hemesphere wanted to feed their ego's and declare with ignorance "we are on top" I think my compass points down and cfc's float up.

I have long held a theory that south is really up .
Consider that the northern hemisphere contains most of the worlds land mass and would therefore be heavier, and would sink to really be on the bottom :)

I always knew that we in the 'Southern Hemisphere' were the 'right way up'. See globe, >

South is never up and neither is north, up is the opposite of down which is where gravity takes us. North and south could be down if you're at the poles but only magnetically and gravitationally...but then a person at the opposite side of the globe is upside down compared to us. hmmm....:D

north and south are more sideways than up or down... and the top of the planet depends on perspective. yes its probably USAs fault we are depicted as being down the bottom, but lets lok at it this way... in space there is no right way up!

so up is heading out of the atmosphere and down is heading to the center of the planet (but only till you get to the center cause once you pass it you are heading up again :P)
