yes it was a sunny day - but thats where that ends, its bloody cold!!!!!!!

Taken at the Obelisk, Newcastle and taken with A Pentax K10D and 20-40 f2.8 lens with special herbs and spices, OK I just threw that in as no one really read these blurbs do they!!

I would like some feedback as to which images are worth keeping or printing?:)

BTW I did a self portrait!!

just a few to finish off.

I will have to learn how to do those border thingy's and tart it up a bit.

I really like the last one. The dramatic juxtaposition of the lone, yet not so lonely man; his ephemeral frailty dwarfed against the magnificent and timeless backdrop of ever moving celestial bodies, with his imagination unfettered as his spirit attempts to soar skywards, symbolised by the obelisk vainly reaching heaven wards.

Is that brave, hardy adventurer you?

Cheers

Dennis

Well, no one can say you ignored the foreground! There's a certain defiance to nos 3-6 in the first batch! ;)

Love the city shots (2nd batch)! When you think about what's "out there", it really makes the "bright lights" dim! :P

Borders are easy. When you resize in photoshop, resize it down to 750px wide (for example), and then use Image->Canvas Size, and set the width back to 800px (the height will need to change too), giving you a 50px wide black border. That's a start anyway :)

woo hoo, I had number 31 on the weather shots on the news last night!! Very happy with that, getting as astro shot on the weather shots - getting Gary Youngberry of NBNTV ready for the total lunar eclipse in August....

Didnt know that until Alan Meehan rang me after seeing it and Scott Alder emailed me after seeing it too.
