Extremely deep NGC 3532 open cluster

Hi all
Tonight I set up the 6 inch, but meant to image the open cluster NGC 3532 without a nebula filter, but forgot to remove the UHCS. Turns out it was a good thing as I got nebulosity through the cluster.

6x10 mins 1 hour total time, ISO 200, UHCS filter, MPCC, 6 inch F3.6 Schmidt Newtonian Meade "Cometracker". Hand guided

Ive picked up a small galaxy near the bright bit of red nebula at top
Ambient temp only 6 degrees or so

Lovely image Scott. Conditions did look good last night. Unfortunately I was too tired (and cold) to get outside, after enduring a 6+ hour drive back from Dubbo with 3 young kids in the car :)

Yes I had the freezer suit on, and a nice clear sky. The cold made my un cooled 350D Modded camera work better too :)

No as I can now confirm, in the first pic there that is not a permanent object, as in a shot taken with the 10 inch here shows nothing, ive arrowed the area
2x10 mins ISO 200 unfiltered 10 inch f5.6 scope.
So was it a passing comet, or a satellite venting fuel, who knows?
