Even though I'm in my 40's I was talked into playing all age football this year. There is nothing like feeling old knowing you are more that twice the average age than the rest of your team mates.
But nothing better than the rest of your team mates saying they wouldn't make it with out you.
We beat the team coming fifth 3-2 with nine men today and assured ourselves a place in the semi finals.
I love this game. playing and watching
I'm also a referee and my fellow refs like nothing better than to put me in my place.. I also don't mind giving it to them when I score. ( which isn't too often as I've only scored two goals this year.
Apart from my family, football is the most important thing in my life. When I first met my wife ( 22 years ago ) I told her that football will always be the love of my life and she laughed.. she no longer laughes..
What obsessions do you have that drives your other half nuts, astronomy included? Football...Football...Football ( the round ball game) is my passion
I'm a mad Leedsd United fad even though we are going bad..I will love the boys until I die...Please ..please.. tell me you support a team that isn't Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U. or Arsenal.

Yep. I'm a mad football fan too, Gaz.

Crystal Palace is my team, so I understand the ups and downs of supporters other than Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea:D

Q.P.R

The great Rodney Marsh was in his heyday back when I was a regular Loftus Rd visitor.

I remember visiting Loftus Rd during the period it 'experimented' with astro turf.

It was (I think) for an FA Cup match between Palace and QPR. Think it was a quarter final. Could have been a regular league match though. It was a very long time ago.

A.C. Milan is my team. I'm lucky that that are always in the UEFA Cup otherwise I'd never get to see them play.

It usually doesn't matter who is playing just so long as it's a good fair game.

Cheers

Ey up, Gazz!

You're the wrong side of the Pennines, old man. The Trotters are mine and have been for more decades than I'm prepared to admit.

Chin up; it's not the fans' problem that Leeds find themselves in financial strife - for the umpteenth time. What a kerfuffle all that has been over the years. The board of the club and it's various managers - particularly of late - have done you lot no favours by their 'gung-ho' spending sprees.

English football isn't quite what it used to be for me :(

When even rubbish teams in the lower part of the Premier League are spending millions on new players and Leeds are sniffing around the free transfer bin after selling everyone off, it gets very depressing...

There is something wrong with a game where 22 men run round a paddock for and an hour and a half a score nothing. Is it little wonder people riot at soccer, they're bored ****less. Just remember Aussie rules....the only true Australian game
