Attempt no3 of M20 trifid Neb

Hi all again,..:hi:
At last the seeing last night was much better than it has been for over a month now so I decided to set up and cross my fingers that the cloud up north and south would not pay a visit! Well they did and bought along some light showers as well. But before I had to pack up quickly I managed to get a bunch of M20 again (have been trying to get a nice M20 for months now) or anything through the scope!!!.
Seeing was average (best for 2 months here) but very transparent..
Image is 11 x 4min , DFs removed and taken with my newt and 300D.
Still a bit noisey after pushing it, another 10 images to stack would be have been nice!! oh-well next time!!
This is my best M20 shot so far...:thumbsup:

I am not sure about all of the star diffraction spikes though..??? I like the large star diffraction spike but some of the small stars within the nebular are showing smaller spikes as well. Just my opinion :).

A great image Gary, everything is nice and sharp and the nebula itself has lovely colour and showing some nice depth to it as well.

I am quiet happy with my color balance and saturation.
Not much I can do about the diffraction spikes unless I get a curved spider, but I rather like some in the image!!
All I could ask out of it was better seeing for tighter stars and a little more detail..but this weather is a little out of my control!!
Lets all hope this jetstream goes somewhere else...:D to give us desperate images a break!! I would hate to try any planetary imaging in these conditions..:P It would drive you nuts..
